Ingredients (1 serving):
- 1 (organic) banana
- ¼ ripe avocado
- 1 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 teaspoon of raw cocoa
- 1 teaspoon of lucuma powder
- blender
Directions:
- peel the banana and the ripe avocado
- cut the banana into small pieces and slice the ripe avocado into 4 pieces
use one of the four pieces of the ripe avocado and use the rest for another recipe (e.g. Green Superfood Wheatgrass Smoothie or Avocado Chicken Salad with Oranges and Parsley) - wash the berries (if you are using fresh berries)
- put all the ingredients in your blender and mix everything until you get a smooth, creamy drink
- add some water if your smoothie is too thick
Healthy food alternatives:
- use pear instead of berries by peer
- add some grounded cinnamon for more flavor
- make your smoothie extra healthy by adding some hemp seeds or a mixture of different types of super fruit
Preferably choose organic fruits and vegetables!
